  • Start: January

Lovely, European clients are looking for a confident, experienced and well organised, formally trained Rota Nanny/Governess (formal teaching qualifications would be ideal), to join their household team in caring for their 3 children: G12, G11 & B6 years.

The family is looking for a lively, engaging and well-organised professional who is experienced in supporting school-aged children and managing their busy schedules. Experience supporting school-age children in the UK education system is crucial and strong coordination skills are essential given children’s school schedules and activities.

Our clients hope to find someone who can balance a focus on educational development with a warm and upbeat approach and their ideal candidate will be discreet, dedicated, positive and genuinely passionate about working with children. A proven track record of working in a similar role would be beneficial, with our clients also seeking a candidate  with very high command of the English language and able to confidently drive in London.

  • The rota is 1 week on/off with a mid-week handover.

The family have a fantastic and settled household support team which includes two full time Housekeepers, a Housekeeper/Chef and a Rota Nanny. To provide continuity, it is therefore essential for all staff work well together and within a wider team.

This role involves standard Rota Nanny/PA related duties, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing homework and supporting educational goals.
  • Scheduling and coordinating age-appropriate activities, play dates and appointments.
  • Menu planning with nutritional focus.
  • Preparing the children’s uniforms and bags as required for the next day.
  • Occasional cooking on housekeeper/chef’s day off or when otherwise occupied.
  • Transporting children to and from activities.
  • Organising children's rooms and playroom.
  • Packing and unpacking for family holidays.
  • Traveling abroad with the family (up to 4 weeks per year with destinations such as Europe, US + Caribbean).
  • There are no pets within the household and there is nanny accommodation (with access to a staff kitchen) when on duty.
  • Nearest tube stations: South Kensington, Gloucester Road, Earl's Court & Fulham Broadway.
  • Excellent salary offered to a top candidate with good organisational skills and with excellent professional childcare experience.
