SOUTH KENSINGTON + travel: PGCE-qualified, Daily Nanny/Governess (2 children; 8 & 6 years) ASAP Jan/Feb start £££££ Exciting opportunity for a highly experienced, Daily Nanny/Governess & Children’s PA. Are you a highly trained & qualified childcare professional with a PGCE, QTS, or extensive British curriculum experience? Do you have a genuine passion for supporting children’s education, wellbeing and development? We are seeking a dedicated, flexible, and detail-orientated Nanny/Governess to join our family based in South Kensington, supporting two, primary school-age children (8 & 6 years). About the Role: - Position: Daily Nanny/Governess & Children’s PA
- Children: 2 children; 8 & 6 years
- Location: South Kensington, London (Knightsbridge is the nearest tube)
- Travel: Willing to travel with the family during all school holidays (domestic & international)
- Salary: very handsome salary for a highly trained & experienced candidate
Key Responsibilities: - Schedule: Daily, working Monday to Friday, 11:00 – 20:30 + travel
- Educational Support: collaborating with the children’s school and tutors to support their learning, homework and educational progress (incl. 7+ preparation).
- Childcare & Wellbeing: bath & bedtime routines, eating meals with children, bedtime stories, tuck-ins, and ensuring their safety, happiness, and development.
- Daily Routines & Organisation: managing, tidying, and restocking children’s wardrobes, playroom, school supplies, uniforms, and organising all items by category.
- Children’s Admin & Calendars: overseeing all children’s administrative tasks, including managing school emails, booking clubs, activities, and liaising with tutors and teachers.
- Travel & Holiday Organisation: meticulously packing and unpacking for holidays, organising all children’s items, and supporting logistics for all trips. Travel days will be fully on duty (2 nannies travel on holidays).
- House management: household duties pertaining to the children’s needs and assisting in maintaining an organised environment.
- Teamwork: working alongside a multi-staffed household, including other nannies and household staff, maintaining a professional and harmonious team environment.
Who We’re Looking For: - Qualifications & Experience: formal training is a key requirement - PGCE / QTS holder or someone with extensive curriculum experience capable of supporting children’s education alongside their school and tutors.
- Personality & Skills: discretion is key, with a strong ability to follow the principals’ wishes, attention to detail, and meticulous work ethic.
- Support & Flexibility: ability to support children’s educational progress, support the family’s routines, and adapt to their needs.
- Travel Flexibility: able & willing to travel during school holidays as per the family’s requirements.
- Language & Communication: excellent communication skills and fluent English preferred.
