Description

HENLEY + travel: TOP, Rota (1 week on/off) Nanny (4 children; 1.5, 3, 5 & 7 years) - April/May start - driver essential

We have a delightful new Rota Nanny role for returning, professional clients in Henley to care for their four children (B7, G5, B3 & B1.5 years). Our clients are seeking a new Rota Nanny to work in rotation with their current long-standing rota nanny. This role is best-suited to an experienced applicant used to 24hr-on-call care and with previous experience of multiple children of varying age-groups

  • Nanny hours will be: 24hr-on-call care on a 1 week on/off basis, with a mid-week (Wednesday) handover.

The family have generally only had long-term nannies to date and this role comes highly recommended. With four children ranging in age from primary school to toddler, the nanny must be adaptive and confident caring for mixed ages, with excellent Early Years and primary school-age knowledge. Three children are in full-time school and pre-school with the youngest commencing part-time nursery in September.

The nanny must have previous experience working with UHNW private families and be active, fun, creative and genuinely passionate about children's development. As a busy household, both parents do experience some fluctuation with their working hours in London, with some flexibility within the rota schedule required, as and when needed.

Our clients are a British/Australian family and therefore do need a candidate who is happy to support with long-distance international travel trips (including over holiday periods e.g. Easter / Christmas). Travel is likely a couple of 2-week trips per year, plus smaller 1-week trips in Europe. It is essential that the nanny has previous experience of formal & VIP households and private travel with multiple charges.

Due to the rural location, a confident town & country driver is essential (manual: Mini & Range Rover), as well as being a strong swimmer, as the children love the water. It is also important that the new nanny is OK with dogs as there are two much-cherished Golden Retrievers.

This role is best-suited to a supremely-organised and confident candidate who enjoys an active lifestyle and can prepare healthy/nutritious meals for the children and support with full nursery duties. The family has a separate full-time housekeeper who looks after all clothes / linen for children when on duty.

Our clients are offering a competitive salary and are actively interviewing for an April/May start, so please do call us for more information: 0207 610 9218, or email your up-to-date CV & references and covering application as to why you are suited to this role to: info@nanniesofstjames.com
