  • Salary: Competitive, dependent upon experience

Overview: A warm and welcoming UHNW family based in Mayfair is seeking an experienced and professional Daily Nanny to join their established childcare team, caring for their delightful 13-month-old daughter.

The family currently employs a Norland-trained, Weekend Nanny and are ideally looking to appoint a similarly qualified and experienced weekday Nanny of equivalent calibre. This is an excellent opportunity for a career nanny who enjoys working within a fully staffed household and is passionate about supporting the development of young children during the early years.  Their daughter is a happy, active and inquisitive little girl who has recently started walking and thoroughly enjoys age-appropriate activities, play, exploration and learning opportunities.

The Role: The successful candidate will take responsibility for the child's day-to-day care and wellbeing during the week, ensuring she enjoys a stimulating, nurturing and developmentally focused environment.

As the child's mother is currently undertaking medical studies alongside professional commitments, the nanny will be confident planning engaging activities, outings and learning experiences independently whilst maintaining excellent communication with the parents.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing attentive and nurturing care for a 13-month-old child.
  • Planning and organising age-appropriate educational, sensory and developmental activities.
  • Supporting the child's social, emotional and physical development.
  • Creating engaging indoor and outdoor play opportunities.
  • Managing routines including meals, naps and daily activities.
  • Accompanying the child to classes, playgroups and outings as appropriate.
  • Managing and maintaining the child's wardrobe, clothing rotation and organisation.
  • Monitoring developmental milestones and providing feedback to parents.
  • Ensuring the child's bedrooms, play areas and belongings remain organised and well maintained.
  • Working collaboratively with the family's existing household team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Norland-trained preferred, or of equivalent professional training and experience.
  • Proven experience caring for toddlers and supporting early childhood development.
  • Confident planning stimulating and engaging activities independently.
  • Warm, energetic and proactive in approach.
  • Excellent understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning.
  • Organised, professional and highly discreet.
  • Comfortable working within a fully staffed household.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents and household staff.
  • Well-presented, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of childcare.

Household Staff: The family employ a full household team including:

  • Chef
  • Housekeeper
  • Laundress
  • Driver
  • Weekend Norland Nanny

Package:

  • Competitive salary dependent upon experience.
  • Monday to Friday schedule.
  • Opportunity to work within a professional and supportive household.
  • Long-term position with a lovely family in central London.
