ITALY & SWITZERLAND + travel: Experienced, trained, Live-in Nanny (G20 mths) Sept/Oct start £££££

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a highly professional, warm and developmentally focused Live-in Nanny to join an international family. The family's main residence is in Zug, Switzerland, but the role will include extensive travel incl. a lot of time spent in Milan.

The family currently has one little girl who will be 20 months and are expecting their second baby in December. They are keen to engage an experienced nanny ahead of the new arrival so that a strong bond and routine can be established with their daughter before the baby arrives. A maternity nurse will be employed following the birth of the new baby, allowing the nanny to remain primarily focused on the eldest child during the transition period. This position would suit an engaging, active, and nurturing nanny who has a genuine passion for early years education, child development, and learning through play. The family are particularly interested in candidates who appreciate the Montessori approach and who enjoy creating stimulating and enriching activities for toddlers.

The family spend extended periods travelling throughout Europe, particularly Italy (Milan) and Spain, and the nanny will need to accompany them. Accommodation will always be provided whilst travelling. The family offer the nanny a high level of independence, including accommodation, and when in Zug, the area offers an exceptional outdoor lifestyle and would suit someone sporty, energetic and enthusiastic about nature and outdoor activities.

Duties Include:

• • Sole charge and shared-care support.
• • Planning engaging developmental and educational activities.
• • Encouraging learning through play and Montessori-inspired methods.
• • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• • Maintaining routines and supporting emotional development.
• • Accompanying the family on European travel.
• • Nursery duties relating to the children.

Candidate Requirements:

• • Extensive experience with toddlers and babies.
• • Excellent knowledge of child development and early years education.
• • Montessori approach or similar philosophy highly desirable.
• • Warm, calm, proactive, and highly organised.
• • Active and outdoors-oriented personality.
• • EU passport/Swiss Permit B are **essential** with good experience travelling with families.
• • Confident working within an international household.
• • Driver not essential, although use of a car can be provided if required.
