This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident, nurturing and capable nanny to join a welcoming, well-established household in beautiful Brisbane, enjoying an enviable Australian lifestyle, excellent accommodation if required, and the opportunity for international travel. Our clients are happy to consider both live-in and daily candidates, with an excellent salary package negotiable according to experience and qualifications. THE POSITION The successful candidate will take responsibility for the baby's day-to-day care, providing a calm, consistent and developmentally stimulating environment while supporting the routines already established by the family's Night Nanny. Responsibilities will include all standard nursery duties, feeding, bathing, settling, baby's laundry, maintaining nursery areas and introducing appropriate developmental activities as the baby grows. The household is fully staffed, including a Night Nanny, so it is particularly important that the incoming nanny is easy-going, adaptable, discreet and a natural team player. Our clients are looking for someone who is exceptionally competent with babies, but equally happy to work collaboratively within an established household rather than impose their own approach. WORKING HOURS & ACCOMMODATION Schedule: Initially six days per week, approximately 06:30–18:30, with the intention of reducing hours once the baby is settled into a good routine. Accommodation: Live-in or Daily. For live-in candidates, a private bedroom and bathroom will be provided within the family residence. Facilities: The family home has a gym and swimming pool. Travel: International travel is anticipated approximately twice annually. Start date: ASAP, although a January 2027 start may be considered for the right candidate. Salary: Excellent, negotiable according to experience and qualifications. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Our clients are seeking a polished, warm and professionally qualified nanny with substantial experience caring for young babies, ideally within private, staffed households. A calm, unflappable personality, excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously alongside other household staff are particularly important. The nanny should be confident managing all aspects of infant care, knowledgeable about early developmental milestones and happy to provide stimulating, age-appropriate activities as the baby grows. A confident driver in Australia is essential, as is flexibility to accompany the family on international travel. IMPORTANT – WORKING RIGHTS: Applicants must hold an Australian or New Zealand passport, or a valid Working Holiday Visa permitting employment in Australia. Candidates must already have the appropriate right to work in Australia.
