WASHINGTON DC, + US travel: Experienced, Rota Nanny/Governess (twins, 4 years) – 2 weeks on/off – (must have legal right to work in USA + confident driver)

Our  international clients are seeking an exceptional, highly educated Nanny/Governess to care for their twins, a boy and girl aged 4 years.

• This is a two-week rota position (2 weeks on/off) working alongside professional parents who value high standards of childcare, education and discretion within the home. 

The ideal candidate must have legal right to work in USA and be a confident driver, and will be well-educated, articulate, and polished, with a strong background in early childhood development and private household roles. You will play an important role in supporting the children's intellectual, emotional, and social development, whilst ensuring their daily routines run smoothly.  The twins are bright, curious, and energetic. The family is therefore seeking someone who is academically minded and confident creating stimulating educational activities, whilst also encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities, including educational play, outings, and structured learning opportunities appropriate for their age. The role also requires a candidate who is confident setting clear boundaries and managing behaviour in a calm, positive manner.  Discretion and professionalism are essential, as the parents enjoy spending time with their children and value a nanny who understands when to take a supportive step back.

Key Requirements

• Legal right to work in the United States (US Passport or Green Card required).
• Driver essential (nanny car provided).
• Proven experience in similar rota nanny/governess roles within private households.
• Strong academic background or teaching/governess experience.
• Ability to plan engaging educational and developmental activities.
• Confident managing two energetic children of the same age.
• Excellent manners, presentation, and discretion.
