Returning clients are seeking a Temporary, Daily Nanny to support them with their little boy until he goes to nursery in the autumn. The family has had a much-loved Norland Nanny for the last year, who is moving out of London. This role will be approx. a 6 month booking, May - November, will start in Angel with the family relocating to Kensington mid-way through the booking.
About the family and children: The little boy - 19.5 months - is described as a generally very happy, agreeable little chap, settled in his routine but also flexible. He eats and sleeps well with a long afternoon nap. He is very adventurous when out and about and loves climbing steps; climbing hills; slides, etc. but is also happy with quieter play at home. He loves reading books together, singing songs or playing independently with cars, stacking toys etc. He is starting to communicate more consistently now with a few words/signs. The family is looking for someone to care for him during the day while they are working. Full, standard nursery duties (incl. meal prep, lunches & suppers, grocery shopping as needed, keeping his belongings organised and clean, helping plan his days around set classes and activities (like Mini Mozart). Little chap has had a Norland nanny since six-months of age - she is relocating outside of London, so the family is looking for someone to help them over the next few months ahead of him starting nursery in late autumn. Our clients favour a more traditional parenting style, e.g. they really value good manners and try to stick to firm boundaries for big issues like safety, but try to support independence and discovery/fun beyond that. And the things that matter most to our clients are: healthy meals, no screens, and as much outside time/free play as possible, ideally with other children. The family currently resides in Angel N1 (Angel tube) but will be moving to Kensington (High Street Kensington tube) sometime this summer. And with excellent local amenities within easy walking distance or accessible via public transport, our clients don't need a driver (although helpful). The family is super-keen to get their search underway, with interviews taking place now for an early May start (for an approx. 6 month booking).
