LONDON + extensive travel (incl. Ireland & Barbados): Live-in Nanny (B3.5 years & B18 months + new baby due)

• Live-in Nanny 
• Start Date: ASAP (with some flexibility but no later than October)
• Location: London (Chelsea) with extensive international travel
• Salary: £65,000–£75,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)

Our clients are seeking an energetic, fun, and flexible Live-in Nanny to support the care of their two young boys (born January 2023 and November 2024), with a new baby due in October 2026, (Maternity Nurse booked for 6-7 months)

This is a shared-care role alongside the mother and an existing nanny. The ideal candidate will have a relaxed yet professional approach, demonstrate responsibility and initiative, and bring a warm, engaging personality. Proven longevity in previous roles and solid experience with babies and children of similar ages are essential.

Job Description:  

• 5 days per week, 12-hour shifts (starting at 7:00/7:30am).
• Flexibility required for evening cover (paid overtime).
• Occasional sole-charge and proxy parenting when required.
• Two days off per week (scheduled in coordination with the second nanny to ensure full weekly coverage).

Travel & Accommodation:

• The family is based between London and Ireland and travels extensively, spending approximately November to March/April in Barbados. The nanny must be happy with frequent international travel and extended periods away from home.
• Private bedroom and bathroom in Barbados and in London a bedroom bathroom is separate accommodation 2 mins from family residence.
• In Ireland, accommodation is a separate nanny flat with individual bedrooms and bathrooms.
• Nannies may remain in residence or travel independently on days off.

Duties:

• All nursery duties, including children’s laundry and maintaining tidy bedrooms/play areas.
• Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the children (support available from a chef in Barbados).
• Supporting daily routines and developmental activities.

Additional Support:

• London: Housekeeper twice weekly.
• Ireland: Full-time housekeeper.
• Barbados: Full household staff including chef.

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker.
• Confident swimmer.
• Driver (essential).
• Comfortable with travel and adaptable to a dynamic schedule.

Additional Information: The family has a friendly Labrador based at their home in Ireland.
