• Position Title: Private Educator/Governess (PGCE/QTS qualified)
• Location: United States — East Coast & West Coast residences + extensive travel throughout the US &Europe
• Employment Type: Full-time | Live-in/live-out depending on location and travel schedule

Overview: High-profile, international family is seeking an experienced and highly qualified educator to oversee the home education and academic development of their twins, 5 years. The household is fully staffed with rota nannies and support staff already in place. The successful candidate will provide a structured and nurturing educational environment, balancing academic progress with experiential and travel-based learning.

Essential Requirements:

• PGCE and/or QTS qualification
  
• Minimum 5 years’ classroom teaching experience
  
• Experience within private households, UHNW environments or private tutoring preferred
  
• Strong early years and prep-level teaching background
  
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
  
• Calm, discreet and professional presentation
  
• Flexible schedule and willingness to travel extensively
  
• Familiarity with US & British educational systems

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver daily academic instruction tailored to the children’s developmental stages
• Plan engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum
• Foster curiosity, creativity and independent learning
• Maintain educational continuity during domestic and international travel
• Liaise with parents and household staff regarding schedules and developmental progress
• Organise educational excursions, cultural experiences and enrichment activities
• Prepare educational reports and monitor progress milestones
