Lovely opportunity for a part-time, Daily (first) Nanny for a family in Mayfair. The role is to support Mum and the family describe themselves as hands-on, flexible and easy going employers who are looking for a nanny to become a trusted long-term support within their home. They are a young couple with an international background who dedicate considerable time, effort and consideration in raising their family. They currently have a one-year-old son (born in September 2025) and are hoping to expand their family in the nearest future. 

= Working hours will be approx. 35-40 hours per week.

The baby in a good routine and our clients are favouring a trained nanny with formal experience (eg: Norland, Montessori).  It will be a shared care role and the nanny will support with full nanny duties and be proactive with researching classes etc etc. The family follow a responsive, child-led parenting approach and appreciate many aspects of the Montessori philosophy, particularly fostering creativity, independence and curiosity. They consider their approach in parenting to be strongly evidence-based. They place a high value on spending time outdoors and would love a nanny who enjoys getting outside with the child regularly. They are looking for someone who would enjoy working collaboratively with the mother and who is comfortable moving between taking the lead with the child and taking a more supportive, depending on what is needed at the time. 

The family is looking for someone to work closely with the mother and share both hands-on childcare as well as child-related practical and organisational responsibilities. As there is a considerable organisational element to the role, they would particularly value someone who is naturally organised and genuinely enjoys creating and maintaining order and finding practical ways of organising the child's belongings, toys and day-to-day life. 

The family do travel a little bit, but don't need the nanny to travel with them.  They do a dog, a "show" Cocker spaniel, so applicants must be OK with pets. And the house is a tall, London townhouse in Mayfair, so someone who is happy running up & down stairs!  the family doesn't require a driver.
