NOTTING HILL + travel: Temporary, Daily Nanny (G21 months) - temporary booking (fixed dates: 20/12/2025 - 03/01/2026)

We also have an opportunity for a super-experienced, Temporary, Daily Nanny to work for 2 weeks over the Christmas period: specifically 20th December until 3rd January (to cover a family's permanent nanny). Crucially (client requirement) applicants must already be registered with Nannies of St James.

• Role: Temporary, Daily Nanny (with flexibility for travel and babysitting)
• Dates: 20th December 2025 – 3rd January 2026 (Christmas Day off)
• Location: Notting Hill
• Charge: G21 months

This lovely family are looking for an experienced, flexible, kind and caring, Temporary, Daily Nanny for their little girl (will be 21 months in December). This temporary cover is to give the family’s permanent nanny time off over the Christmas period. The role is a mixture of mainly shared care with some sole charge; the nanny should be happy to work alongside the parents, but also be happy and capable of taking sole charge if needed. The nanny will also be expected to plan and prepare healthy nutritious meals for the little girl.

• Working hours: 8 or 9 hours per day plus on-call for babysitting in the evening. 

There may also be a family holiday somewhere with a warm climate (possibly the Caribbean) after Christmas where the nanny would be asked to join the family. The family employs cleaning staff, but the nanny will be responsible for nursery duties including including the little girl’s laundry (washing, ironing etc) and ensuring that her bedroom and play areas are tidy and well organised. 

• A driver would be super-helpful but not essential.
• There are no pets. 

They will not be needed to work on Christmas Day and there may not be requirement for them to work on some of the other days, but flexibility is the most important thing. The family is happy to book the nanny for the whole period to have ‘on call’ flexibility.
